Tria Reed is an Interfaith Minister, ordained by The New Seminary in New York City, and a member of Spiritual Directors International. She also holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Religion from the University of Southern California and has been privately trained in Creative Journal Work, Expressive Arts and Authentic Movement.

On February 20 of 1981, she began receiving blessings directly from heart, our true nature. In September of that year, she offered spontaneous meditation to her first student. Over the years, students have given her various kinds of feedback about the meditations and blessings she facilitates:130808TAJLREEDP_063-2

“I’ve been looking for this spiritual process my whole life.”

“With you, I feel permission to explore myself through movements and sounds.”

“Your spontaneous sounds and movements energize my being.”

“My time with you was an initiation—an initiation by the Light.”

“Thank you, Tria, for your support and compassion.”

Since 1990, Tria has shared her spontaneous spiritual experiences in public settings (at churches, retreat centers and national conferences) through demonstrations, informal talks and readings of her original poetry. Responding to performances of her illustrated poem, My Name is Love: The Life Force in Word and Image, viewers have described it as: “Magnificent,” “An effortless way to learn” and “Visually stunning.”

During public performances and private meditation and blessing sessions, Tria rests in heart’s silence in order to grow the unconditional love that dwells within each of us.

She lives with her husband, Richard, in Western Washington, near the water’s edge.
